Does this Mean I'm a Psychic?

If you are just going to flip out and say this isn't real and stuff like that, then just don't say or type it. Please.


Every time someone calls I know who it is.


When I turn on the TV I know what show and episode will be on.


I can change the temperature in a room slightly, just by thinking about it.


Does this mean I'm a psychic?


If so can someone tell me how to control it, or something like that, because if it's real, I would definitely like to move things with my mind. Even if it requires great discipline I'm up for it.

I'd say that knowing who's calling indicates good working intuition or precognitive abilites, assuming the same people do not always call at about the same time every day- that could fool you.





Knowing what will be on TV may not be a good indicator, it is possible to have such a good sense of timing that you know what time it is and what TV show to expect. Now, if you know what commercials are on, on an unfamiliar channel, I'd say- yes, that's precognitive abilities.





Learning control? Practice and education. Find a good, kind and local person who's abilities you respect if you can and ask to study with them. Expect to pay for their time or trade for it.

no, it could all be natural, you might know the schedule of the shows because you watch them at a certain time everyday, you might have caller i.d. or memorized their #s! sorry, you are not psychic!

I would say no because a psychic cannot control the temperature of a room and everybody knows what show is on when they turn on the tv.

The only way to truly find out once and for all is to have yourself tested. There are universities and labs that provide psychic testing.





If you are ';psychic';, you can condition and discipline your craft to develop it further. We all have ';psychic abilities';. Some call it intuition, and some have stronger intuition than others. The more you develop your intuition, the more good that can be done with it. Eventually, if you want cred as a psychic, you'll have to use it for more difficult endeavors than knowing who is calling, what's on TV, or changing the temperature (which, by the way, would be considered psychokinetic). This is because one could argue that anyone knows who is on the phone before it's answered - caller ID. Anyone can tell what show and episode is on television these days - TV Guide. Anyone could offer more traditional explanations for temperature changes as temperatures often fluctuate even in a climate-controlled space.





EDITED TO ADD: You say that on occasion you can see what other people are thinking. To be considered psychic, this would need to occur much more often than on occasion. Your psychic abilities should be strong enough to withstand criticism, derision, and rejection by others. You should be able to intuit correct information that no one else would know more often than the average person. Most people can see on occasion what someone else is thinking. The key word here is consistency.





To pursue life as a psychic, you'll have to intuit information that only few people could have known and/or that is not as easily explained, so what you can currently do with it as described in your question won't help you much.
